Played perfectly using Steam Remote play together
Played using latest proton experimental. Defaulted to medium settings based on the hardware.
Had issues with origin client in proton, none with the game itself. On first installation the game is not started. Click play to start the game again.
Works great
Was unplayable with controller (Xbox Series) for me, acceleration was too much. (Your experiance may vary) Tried changing some settings but didn't find any acceptable solution.
Changing setting with controller was a issue, especially sliders.
Apart from the controller acceleration issue, runs great. Got > 120FPS on my system.
Works perfectly out of the box
Played with Series S controller. Works perfectly out of the box.
Requires protontricks to install certain pacages inclueded in GE version. Once the packages is installed in the prefix, the game works the same on even the stable and experimental versions.
Played the latter half of the game with some mods as well, worked perfectly.
This is not required but enhances the experience
- Asylum Reborn - HD Texture Pack - install using protontricks.
- extract the archive in game directory
- open the file explorer in protontricks and run the batch file by double click

- Advanced BmLauncher - Also included in texture pack. Paste files in binaries directory. Install recommended fonts from protontricks. Played with optimal settings.
- [Asylum 4K] All Cutscenes in 4K! - extract and replace file in game folder.

Got >80 fps on Ultra settings. Played perfetly with XBOX Series Controller.

Got error when changing resolution in the launcher with Proton Experimental. No such issues in GE.
Worked flawlessly on forcing proton experimental.
Dos Box launched directly in full screen was able to get in the game.
The native version didn't work for me. Couldn't maximize of move the dos box window and could not control the menu past the navigation screen. Both mouse and keyboard didn't work.
Tried with proton 7.0-1. Got a unity window on launch with new prefix. Crashed after a few seconds. Recommend playing with Experimental for now.
Demo Worked out of the box
Tested the demo, worked out of the box. Played with Xbox Series controller. Recommended to play with wired controller and headphones to get perfect scores (rhythm timing is very strict).
Using pipewire on my setup, didn't notice any latency.
Works great
On first start the I got a black screen on focus out in the inital loadscreen. Cannot reproduce in any other part of the game.
Works great with Xbox Series Controller. Able to access all contents. Faced no issues with any videos/skills as reported by an earlier report.
Great out of box experience
Some audio issues like extended and loud helicopter and footstep sounds even when inside a building. Sometimes dialogs were of lower volume but nothing major affecting gameplay experience.
Disable PhyX and V-Sync to prevent frame drops, stuttering and tearing from the game options. Played game on the max settings.

In menus and and 1st run contrast control settings controller not working as expected. Using Xbox Series controller.
Played the demo, worked perfectly. Some controller issues which might be fixed in the complete game.

After adding 800 600 32 0 BaseCMO.cmo in player.ini in the game install directory, it ran perfectly but in windowed mode. Since windows 7 and 10 also have the same issue, this solution is recommended in Steam Community.
It would be great if steam would add a custom resolutions and windows version compatibility option for old games.

Worked Perfectly
Tried with both proton 7.0-1 and experimental. No issues observed.
Crashed once when very quickly skipping scenes during a subsequent playthrough, however I think it might be a game bug. Other than that it was a flawless experience.

Got some performace issue by default on proton 7.0-4 . FPS ~ 30 even at low setting. Even then the game is playable. Might be fixed when full game is released. Used lauch option -Dx11 to resolve performace issues. Got 65-80 fps on low and 60+ on medium after the fix.
Runs perfectly
Played through the entire singleplayer campaign with no issues. Didn't try the multiplayer.
