The game is per default in a windowed mode, what isn't perfect for me (i use i3). making it fullscreen only make it buggy, luckily maki9ng the game fullscreen fixes that. But an issue stays, if you switch workspaces, the game screen becomes black. And there is a little bit lag as well.
Worked very well. I also tried mp, sadly I could only one game with other players, but I noticed no bugs/glitches. I also played against bots, and there also I had no issue.
The native linux version didn't recognized my mouse and has stutters, and the windows version doesn't launch, seems to be battleye.
The game won't start, most likely because battleye. For the issues with the native version, restarting solved it for me.
Worked out of the box, noticed no issues or bugs. Played the tutorial and multiplayer.
The game itself runs great, as others said, stutters for something like a minute and is playable after that, but for me, after every match (I tried 2), the games crashes.
Protontricks command below worked after a winetricks update (sudo wget http://winetricks.org/winetricks -O /usr/bin/winetricks). Technically playable, they were issues with text displaying.
Not playable
With the vanilla proton (4-11-12) the text overlaps, wich makes the game unplayable for me. So I tried a custom version (proton-ge 5.0), hoping that the new WINE version would fix the problem, and it did, no more text overlapping. But I can't start a game with this proton version.
proton-GE 5.0
Sometimes the text was a little bit weird, but playable
The textures need to be set on low (to lower vram usage), otherwise the game can hang or even crash while loading a map.
