Only thing I noticed was in the opera when you have to kill the guy, the loop of saying press x to assassinate
flashes black when it restarts the loop but that may be on Windows as well. Definitely not game breaking.
It ran in my opinion faster than it did on Windows (didn't test) and it wasn't necessary to add any of the -nomemrestrictions etc options.
It would very rarely freeze when in a loading screen and like once or twice I had to pause mid cutscene to get it to continue to show the cutscene. I think these issues are because I was playing without a framerate limiter.
Non-definitive version. It does not launch at all. No windows are opened or anything.
Just run this in the wine prefix for sleeping dogs vd=1280x720
Enabling just proton experimental is not enough. You also need the steam beta client. The winetricks command solves the white screen when starting up the game. Don't worry, the game can still be set to full screen native resolution in the game settings. (This was the non-definitive version)
