Runs well, no graphical issues. Can be slow to find or download a map, but that's also true when running on Windows.
Tabbing out of the game will release the mouse, but will continue to capture its movements even when the window doesn't have focus.
Media/Videos/Animations played during load screen are distorted.
While there is definitely a performance hit, I found the game to continue to be enjoyable. No major crashes; Audio was clean and crisp.

Little glitches around textures no lining up correctly, but nothing game breaking.
Renamed OpenAL32.dll (rather than deleting as described by other reviews). This solved the audio issues in MW1, plays very well now. Origin Launcher installation and launching the game went smoothly.

Occasional tearing depending on camera angle.
Every now and then, the mouse will jump, flicking the viewpoint to odd angles. Infrequent, not a deal breaker.
Long play session, graphical glitches started appearing, then when trying to save, CTD.
Occasionally crashes during long sessions, or while saving. No errors, just a CTD.
Over time, the game becomes less and less responsive, this is especially pronounced in Inventory Menus. Restarting the game solves the issue.
No DLSS; stuttery menus; borderline unplayable.
The game runs very well, with little to no performance degradation. Fully enjoyable, no tweaks required in my experience.
Related to using the games internal Vulkan driver - Unable to switch between Windowed/Fullscreen, game crashes. Using the games internal DX11 or DX12 driver does not suffer from these issues. Option to change the games driver is found in Video Settings menu.
No major issues out of the box. Mostly quality of life problems around audio levels etc.
When the game plays a new audio sample, it cuts off the previous one.
Immediate CTD when trying to run directly from Steam as well as Lutris

If you can forgive the small issues with scene transitions, and the occasional texture corruption, the game plays extremely well.

Glorious EggRoll: Proton-7.0rc2-GE-1
Odd shading corruption or misalignment during scene transitions. Otherwise, near perfect.
