I'm not quite sure if the problem is the environment. Even natively on Windows there are performance issues
gamemoderun PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1 %command% -dx11 -force
Lags in texture loading, mostly surfaces like rocks and trees
gamemoderun %command% -dx11
Crashes without sysctl -w vm.max_map_count=1048576, with modifications like native
you can play, but only if there is a nuclear war, and this is the only game on your computer
gamemoderun PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% -dx10
gamemoderun PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% -dx10
Very low FPS regardless of expansion and graphics settings
gamemoderun %command% -dx11
Without -dx11 the game is lagging asf
Without -dx11 the game launches but lags at 1 frame per minute. In full screen mode even with dx11 you can already play the game, but it will be a pain. Be sure to use proton experimental and the specified launch parameters. After loading into the main menu, immediately set the game mode to fullscreen windowed. Only after that it is possible to enjoy the game. Have fun.
It's playable and there are no problems with EAC, but objectively it's a very bad port
Sometimes the tree textures are black
60 FPS lock, stutters for 10-15 seconds when loading on the map
Shows the logo, but after a couple of seconds disappears, the game does not start.
The game automatically puts the maximum settings graphics, but a firefight FPS drops to 7, on medium settings I got a stable 60 frames.
Fails to launch via Steam with any version of Proton due to PayrollLauncher.exe crashing. If you go to the game folder and run Payroll.exe
wine ./Payroll.exe
At the very least you should go into your game folder because of the Easter egg :)
