Small stutters occasionally, but only for about 15 minutes after launching the game. After that no stutters.

Not working chemistry

This game is not one of the best optimised ones but runs just as good as on Windows.
I recommend editing your config file if you have a lower end pc due to the in-game settings not covering everything.

OPENSSL_ia32cap=~0x20000000 %command%.
Slight stuttering occassionally.
Intel 10th-12th gen has a problem with OpenSSL that causes the game to not launch at all. This can be fixed with the provided launch parameter and isn't a problem with Linux, but rather Intel CPUs as the same problem exists on Windows.

-dx10
Used a community controller layout called "best controls for controller"
Some of the "Tasks" text can be a little squished and hard to read
You have to finish the tutorial before you are able to save the game
Game is very slow without the -dx10 command, I also changed the graphics to low which has given me a pretty stable 30 FPS experience on the Steam Deck OLED

The game stutters a little bit, but it's completely playable

Pretty much unplayable

The game runs as it should, no problems there. So if you like the initial game your golden!
Use GE-Proton

Crash
Crashes upon saving the game, screen goes black and audio still plays in background.
playable OOTB
game is totaly fine and playable.
you can play, but only if there is a nuclear war, and this is the only game on your computer
gamemoderun PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% -dx10
gamemoderun PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% -dx10
Very low FPS regardless of expansion and graphics settings
Less than 30fps even after setting all graphics to low/off and lowering resolution (~20fps with default resolution and low graphics)
420
gamemoderun PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% -dx10
with the -dx10 i get all sorts of weirdness.
Whitout -dx10 flag it lags so bad I feel I'm watching a slideshow
Shows a black screen and crashes with an error prompt

Some stuttering when loading objects, on the 2nd game run things were running way smoother.
Getting 90-130 fps on a 3080ti 1440p
gamemoderun mangohud %command%
Without any tweaks on medium settings, the game was basically unplayable so the average gamer would have a tough time playing it
The game uses some sort of secondary mouse overlay over the mouse while on the in game laptop, which lags behind the actual mouse, doesn't affect game play it's just something to note (this only happens with low FPS)
The game was very laggy on the initial launch, and was basically unplayable (10 FPS), adding the -dx10 flag and turning off XFCE4 display compositing helps but it still isn't great (<60FPS)
my GPU and CPU both had only around 50% utilization, so I feel like to get the game to run smoother it needs to utilize the hardware better. Side Note, It ran much better after updating my kernel from 5.10 to 5.15, but that could just be for all games due to improvements in the kernel.
The game is generally completely playable on Linux. Had to switch to Proton 5.13-6 otherwise the game wouldn't load into main menu at all.
Added -dx10 as the launch flag as the game was stuttering and lagging pretty bad.
The -dx10 launch flag is optional, but suggested as the game runs way better using dx10. I got a huge performance boost with using the flag.
OOTB works very good, minimal tweaking required for 144hz
As long as they could handle the frame drops
Running at about 55FPS as medium settings and high textures. Occasionally experience FPS drops to around 25FPS
The game is not playable because of intense FPS drop in all Proton versions.
I was able to play the game with no problems in Windows but when i changed to Linux i am not able to play the game anymore due to constant severe fps drop, i tried all versions of Proton enabled in Steam and that didnt change. The Steam Linux Runtime version only removes the executable file and i can't initialize the game.
No issues found in more than 10 hours of gameplay

Crackling audio issues, frequent FPS drops
Sound is crackling all the time. Frequency FPS drops, game starts acting lagging (graphics and sound) making the game unplayable. The game is fine 20% of the time whilst playing.
I don't think it's hardware related, as I can play other games just fine. I even set the graphics options to the lowest quality. In addition; setting the resolution doesn't work as expected, it gets reset. I had to change 4K to 1080p manually in the OS.

Just wanted to update that I am no longer having issues with stuttering after an update at some point. Everything is working perfectly as far as I can tell!!
rare fps drops

sometimes ~1s stutter when entering new areas.
I am not seeing text messages. Is this just a bug with the game, though?
