Used to work flawlessly, but ever since the march 31 update, it will no longer get past the unity flash screen
I tried experimental, proton 8, proton 7, and various GE versions, but will not run anymore

Mouse would not grab until using gamescope
Before changing launch options, launch without any to get the fallout 4 launcher, and select your desired settings, and launch the game once. Then close, and add the custom launch options. Then browse to the game files, rename Fallout4Launcher.exe to Fallout4Launcher.exe_backup or something, then rename Fallout4.exe to Fallout4Launcher.exe
Now the game will run and skip the launcher. The launcher crashes when using gamescope, but gamescope is required for mouse to stay within game bounds. So the file rename trick is needed.

Borderless fullscreen has 1px white border
I used to run with lots of gamescope options, but now it just works without issues without all that. Even gamemoderun is not really required
The game's built in screenshot mode casuses my whole PC to lag until I quit the game. But other than that, very smooth gameplay fully max settings
When using the game's built in screenshot mode, the moment you save a photo, the game and even entire desktop becomes laggy until you quit the game. Other than that, very smooth6 amazing experience on maxed out settings
The native version had issues with camera tilt with mouse. Switching to proton experimental fixed that
