Runs well out of the box
Has some issues with Alt + Tab-ing, could be the same issue on Windows
The game **would** run fine, if the game itself wasn't just trash
Bugs I experienced in Proton also occured in Windows, obviously.
As long as you are fine driving without a wheel, perfectly playable
Game crashes/does not start up with a driving wheel conntected (in my case Logitech G920)
Keyboard and mouse do work without issues, though.
Well playable, but frequent crashes
The game frequently runs out of video memory, which brings it to crash after a certain time.
Minor performance problems. These could also be caused by the game itself and not Proton.
Steering wheel works flawlessly, even with ForceFeedback enabled.
Works really well
I tried it with Proton Experimental and it works really well. Videos are not always playing, but this doesn't affect the gameplay experience. When spawning in, there is lag for a few seconds. Other than that, really playable.
Rush Hour update broke the game because of a missing DLL. steam_api64.dll has to be downloaded manually and placed in C:\windows\system32 to be able to start the game.
Video sequences do not play sometimes
Works out of the box
Videos aren't played properly. This doesn't impact gameplay.
When first playing a route, I noticed heavy stuttering. May be due to some pre-rendering. It isn't there anymore after playing the route once.
If you want to migrate your profile from TSW2, copy the "My Games" folder from the steamuser's documents folder to the documents folder in the new prefix.
Works well when selecting "Play directly"
The launcher does not work, just select "Play TramSim Munich directly" and it'll launch.
Works out of the box
Multiplayer works just as it should
