In game overlay videos didn't appear, even with mf-installer.
Also Multiplayer appears to be LAN only at this point.
Both mf-installs are needed! I was able to get past the lvl 2 "Watch Monitor" quest with these fixes. Appears to be nvidia only, for now. Did not work on my Ryzen/Navi rig.

Run the game, wait until the first in game setup menu
SteamCloud doesn't work, not sure if it's supposed to.
Must use Proton 5.09 to progress past Origin quirks
Origin will complain about being able to install to a certain folder, just ignore
Had to swap from Kisak to Oibaf PPA for mesa drivers. Models were textured black on Kisak. This is a launch day test, mind you.

Steam cloud syncing doesn't really work. I had to manually copy my saves from a Windows machine to the proper location in the wine prefix before I could continue.
Still playable, albeit lower performance than what is expected
Massive slowdowns after about 2 hours of play
Stalls to a crawl when I alt-tab with V-sync enabled.

Gotta use Proton 5.09 to bypass Origin quirks
Had to disable V-Sync to eliminate stuttering and stalls in menu after alt-tabbing

Be sure to switch to DX11 in the games graphics options and restart.
Proton-4.21-GE-2 works the best of all the custom versions I've tried. Once Origin is installed, simply click Play.

Runs fine with Esync and Fsync disabled. Still stutters a bit on texture load.
