Start the game Rename .exe file located in steamapps/common/Plants Vs Zombies/ to another name (just for restore cases) Copy .exe file from steamapps/compatdata/3590/pfx/drive_c/ProgramData/PopCap Games/PlantsVsZombies/ to steamapps/common/Plants Vs Zombies/ Rename the copied file to the before-rename name of step 1, which should be PlantsVsZombies.exe Restart the game
