Installed xna40 via protontricks
Title screen music is missing
Some graphical effects seem to be missing, like the glow effect around a selected block. Some occasional artifacting as well.
Keyboard input was completely broken until an older proton and xna40 were used
Had issues with stutters until xna40 was installed via protontricks
You can't chat, the chat box simply will not accept any input
A lot of tinkering is required for an objectively compromised experience in the end. I wouldn't consider it fully playable as it is right now.
The default Steam Input configuration set by the developers maps your controller to the KB/M controls for the game. You can safely change the mapping to normal controller input for smoother input and correct glyphs.
I did not experience the v-sync related issues that other users experienced.
Worked fine with both traditional couch co-op (2 controllers) as well as Steam Remote Play Together with a friend who doesn't own the game
Everything seems to work OOTB, just like prior EDF titles on Steam.
There's an Epic Account login requirement (due to use of EOS), but it's not disclosed on the store page. Putting this here because I know it bothers some people.
Everything works OOTB, just make sure the EAC runtime is installed.
Multiplayer worked just as it does on Windows
