Does not launch after install.
Cannot play.
Runs quite poorly for the hardware. Getting 20-30 frames even on lower settings - The game is fairly playable though.
Sometimes you can get stuck on menu loading.
Works with some video-player artifacts
In-game videos are not showing properly. Displays as a big mosaic of pink/purple squares

Runs fine out of the box
Minor difference: Fullscreen windowed has a white border of 1 pixel. You will not notice it while playing
Definitely playable, but can be unlucky with the texture LoD bug.
Many of the textures would never load in properly, stuck with very low level of details for a lot of models making the game look quite bad. Seemingly a bug that has happened to others throughout the years and not only on linux. I do not experience this on Win10, with the same hardware
EAC was not an issue, used Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime in Steam Tools

LoD bug was fixed, game runs similar to Windows again. Remember to install Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime on steam.
Does not work after the Hunt Showdown 1896 rebrand/engine update
The update that rolled out today broke the game on Linux. You get a black window which shows the mouse cursor, then a crash ~30 seconds later. Never reaching a menu. Does not appear to be anti cheat related, as its logs suggest it launches succesfully.
The 1896 update broke the game on linux, but now the latest proton experimental bleeding edge build makes the game run fine.
Tested on Medium settings, and it was dipping below 60 frames often.
Got stuck on a loading screen while joining a match. Seems quite infrequent and is also experienced on other devices.
Unplayable, cannot get past connection/loading screen.
Installs and runs the menu with no issues, but trying to connect to their service leaves you hanging until the game eventually crashes.
Does not prevent you from playing
Tested the demo (ver. Alpha 0.20) Did a "full playthrough" with no issues and rock solid 60 fps
Performance is equally bad on Windows 10 - The game engine is not great in busy areas.
