Game won't start
Installed via Steam and tried to run using Proton 5.0-5 and then Proton 4.11-13, both had the same result.
The game freezes after a few minutes of playing. I tried several versions of Proton, both standard and GE, including the versions others have reported as working. At one point, using GE7-29, I got a solid hour in before the game froze.
None of the Proton versions I tried worked
I tried to use Proton 5.8-GE-2-MF, 5.0-7, 4.11-13, and 4.2-9 but in all cases there was no indication the games was running other than being able to see the processes in ps
Blank screen when I start a game
I was using Proton 5.13-1 and was able to get the initial menu.
Fine as long as you don't want the opening cinematics
The opening cinematic was blank white, although text was visible. Everything was fine after that until, after playing for a while, I selected 'Exit to main menu' and got a blank black screen. The game made noises when I pressed ESC, but nothing appeared on the screen. I eventually killed the process.
5.21-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
Use Glorious Eggroll 5.21-GE-1
When I tried the game with stock proton, it would either not play any cut scene videos at all, or only play the audio. When I switched to the Glorious Eggroll 5.12-GE-1, the cut scene videos played too.
Didn't even look like it started
I've not tried any tinkering since I'm not that interested in spending a bunch of time getting this to run.
Black screen only, no apparent way to stop it running
The game appeared to start, but just gave me a black screen. I was able to ALT-TAB back to steam, but the 'Stop' button had no effect. I couldn't find a process that appeared to be the game, so had to restart Steam before I was able to try again. I tried both Proton Experimental and GE8-3.
The game wasn't starting after I clicked 'Play' in the launcher. I made the changes posted by cinteros and got the game working. It seemed fine, smooth and stable, for the 30 minutes I had free.
There is at least one 'TV screen' that should display images but actually displays a sort of 'test card'. This is the only problem I've encountered. It doesn't seem to have an impact on the gameplay, but I might be missing clues that are visible when run on Windows.

The game was working fine, until about 45 minutes in, when it started slowing down. It stuttered several times then seemed to freeze for 20 seconds or so before it recovered to about quarter speed. After this the performance was unpredictable, so I gave up on it.
