You have to enable gamepad/controller in the menu yourself, it doesn't auto enable
a read me pops up on first time launch, use desktop mode to negate this
Looks phenominal and is essentially flawless on the deck
Something to note is that you may be forced to login in to an EA Account which I did but supposedly you do not have to
text can be difficult to read especially the side missions pop ups that are viewable in game
Worried me as it took 25 seconds to get past a black screen upon 3nd launch for what ever reason
Runs well at 60fps with occasional dips to 55 All set to low, post processing and visual effect normal and textures at ultra 800P
Don't be disappointed and think at those setting it'll look bad, it looks phenominal I set my game at 50 or 55hz just to be perfectly smooth

go into accessibility and change font size from 100% to 125%
Crashed with standard no compat mode and GE-Proton 7.30, 7.24 and proton 7.0.3 CRASHES ENDED WHEN SWITCHED TO PROTON EXPERIMENTAL
used the preset of medium settings, lowered shadow, shader and reflection, increased anisotropic filtering. game hitches frequently which takes away from the experience
Played at 60hz and maintains 60fps with a hiccup into 55 occasionally
Odd that some people have problems where others don't and vice versa even though we're all using the same hardware

comically in my previous report I was able to play for an hour but have not been able to play at all now, I have tried every possible solution I can think of short of formatting my deck which I do not want to do, I've verified, cleared proton files, reinstalled forza, custom fan profile incase it was heat and crash within seconds of getting in the game, sometimes even in the menu changing graphics
I adore this game an I'm incredibly envious of others that are able to play this almost flawlessly

One crash while running steam default, switching to GE Proton 7.3 fixed this
EAC makes it impossible to play online or even launch initially
Like others said you have to remove delete the "easyanticheat" folder in the games directory and launch with "MCC ANTI-CHEAT DISABLED" when prompted at launch
Dropped refresh rate to 45hz
Controls were a bit hard to get used to for my smooth brain

Insurgency Sandstorm requires EAC to play online and is one of the extreme few that work on linux! I finally have a good multiplayer fps game on the deck I can just drop in and play
Origin versions must be launched directly from origin, can be a bit tedious to get to this part
Origin adores it's "press shift + f1 to open overlay" negate this enabling a back button and binding a shift and f1 command
Had some back buttons as escape and enter keys
Runs fantastic 60fps max settings, Love this game, Please bring this back on steam Rockstar so I can buy heaps of copies and gift them to force people to play one of the best arcade racers
Depending what platform you bought it from, EG Rockstar games launcher it is installable but unplayable, Frustratingly I had to migrate and get a unique version to be able to play a game I already own, Keep this in mind if you own the Rockstar copy
Refresh set to 40hz, everything low with high textures, Ultra textures would cause me to crash for whatever reason
