Works perfectly with 4.11-6 (didn't at all with 4.2). Runs completely bug free as far as I can tell, though performance is a bit low. I manage above 40FPS most of the time, with the occasionally lag spike. Better CPUs that my i5-4460 should do fine!
Use linux_proton branch of the game (enable Betas in Steam)
Recent patch broke the game for Proton, but developers have added a linux_proton branch that you can use.
Game doesn't start
Should run (as it appears to use Unity) but game never starts. Executable runs using 100% CPU, but not even a black screen.
Game now runs out of the box. Not certain why - either because game was updated a couple of days ago, or something in the system was updated.
Runs in windowed mode, but crashes before gameplay. No useful messages in log, just the usual Ogre engine start-up stuff.
As per user from a few days back (thanks!) I upped the esync limit., and now it runs flawlessly in a bordlerless window, rather than borking before game start. Disabling esync via PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 probably has the same result.
Linux version wouldn't start properly. Proton wouldn't start with Vulkan, but ran flawlessly with OpenGL. Just add "PROTON_VARIABLE = 1% command% to the parameters.
All speech is low volume. Adjusting speech volume up doesn't seem to make a difference (adjusting this works in Windows). Some directional audio doesn't work, i.e. sound effects coming out of only one speaker, regardless of which way you are facing. Graphically, everything is flawless. Runs well, even on my lowly GTX 1030. Play with all subtitles on, and you should have fun. :)
Game runs absolutely perfectly. Slight audio issuesfixed now that I've added "xaudio2_7 (native, builtin)" to the DLL overrides.
