Have played it for over 7h at this point, no problems what so ever.
Works really well, so do mods, including downloading music from other websites and submitting scores to scoresaver
Every few starts, I get crackling from the Index headset, despite setting the system to 48kHz sound. But it's pretty quiet and music easily drowns it out
Played 3 h so far (3 dungeons), works flawlessly
after disabling the crash reporting (blackholing datarouter.ol.epicgames.com and datarouter-weighted.ol.epicgames.com traffic) the game still crashes with an error message, but that happens once every few hours. The only way to make it start in VR is for me to start from the VR environment, starting from desktop UI doesn't work at all.
Had to use -proton-ge for the in-game videos to show properly
While it requires a bit of a setup, once that's done it works fine, stable framerates, was able to finish it no problem while playing the VR mod.
with very busy vistas the framerates do drop a bit, but nothing game breaking
Managed to play through the whole game with basically no issues.
the "anime" portion (which time-wise is almost half of the game) doesn't work, with older proton versions the game would hang or exit, with the current version of proton the projected video is corrupted and completely unwatchable
When setting the graphical settings to max, the game turns to a slideshow. Default settings work fine though.
GloriousEggrol proton is needed to play the anime portion.
Played throgugh the whole game in VR mode. No issues, ran well (small slowdowns in the most complex environments, but nothing experience breaking).
