Game launches, but then boots into blackscreen after 0.5-1 second of sound
Was working a few days ago. Latest update may have borked Apex :(
Listened to comments a few days after updates, this works now. Not sure if the launch option helps or not but you can try!
-dev +fps_max 240

Minor graphical errors every now and then, but it's probably a game thing and not a Linux thing.
gamemoderun mangohud gamescope -W 2560 -H 1440p -r 240 -f --force-grab-cursor --adaptive-sync -- %command%
--force-grab-cursor in gamescope will fix mouse issue in Wayland.

Ray Tracing really bogs the game down a lot. It could be that this is an AMD GPU, but a 7900xt should be able to get 60 frames even on low ray tracing. I would have to look at other benchmarks with people using RTX on AMD GPUs on other Linux distros.
When closing down the game, it seems like something else opens on close, preventing a total shutdown of the software. Nothing huge, I just stop the game in Steam.
Perfect
Works great! No major issues.

I always have an issue recently where my mouse gets locked whenever I mess with proton or steam launch settings. I have to reboot my computer in order for the problem to be solved. This is a MAJOR issue for multiplayer games, when you have to DC and come back.
Seems strange to me that a 7900xt can't run a 20 year old game at 240, but... ok
Get to launcher and "compiling shaders", then freezes.
Also get warnings about OS and drivers
Works as it should.
Music stopped randomly once, but haven't had that issue since
It looks little fuzzy, but it could be that I am using FSR.
DXVK_HUD=compiler STAGING_SHARED_MEMORY=1 __GL_SHADER_DISK_CACHE=1 __GL_SHADER_DISK_CACHE_SKIP_CLEANUP=1 %command%
Mouse may get stuck. Reboot of system solves.
Shaders not compiling properly
Latest update makes game crash sometimes
Currently broken on Arch, or at least my machine
Was working pretty flawlessly until recently, not sure what changed. I just get kicked as soon as the menu opens up. Changing proton versions, gamemode, gamescope, etc all do not make a difference.
I guess its a blessing somewhat that Linux is trying to save me from this game, but everything else is working pretty great...
Had to get .NET files from winetricks. Otherwise it wouldn't install correctly.
Latest update made my mouse go crazy! It was only in Smite. Had to uninstall and reinstall the game in order to fix.
Steam Deck/Linux support day 1 for smite 2 according to devs! Thank you from linux gamers!
Doesn't work on Arch/Gaurda :(
If anyone knows a fix, please let us know!
This was only in DX12
DX12 does not work very well, but given my hardware specs I think it could work well. RT looks great but then quickly crashes the game. DX11 runs with no issues and I am able to max out the game.
