Other than manually installing the proton anticheat runtime I see no difference from windows
Every so often I'll get some stuttering from 120fps to around 45 but it seems to resolve itself quickly enough
You need to manually install the proton anticheat runtime otherwise you'll get kicked from games
The game is slightly unoptimized and has been since launch, but letting the shaders cache and being slightly patient while it loads

Stuttering when loading large areas
Online play with friends, the majority of the install size of the game, in unaccessible on linux
Should have significantly higher fps
Occasionally the mouse and keyboard inputs just stop registering
Online is completely unaccessible to me on linux, i installed the proton battleye runtime and was able to get into a game after multiple tries but was kicked out within 5 mins
Story mode works great, but removes a large portion of the game without online
Stuttering, but fixed by forcing 64bit at launch
I didn't experience anything but teleporting caused my host to crash a few times
Only encountered an issue with proton experimental
It didnt work for me, but may for others
Game works about the same as MW5 Mercenaries did in terms of stability and frame rate expectations

After launch day patch game seems to be running just fine, there are hiccups here and there due to being unoptimized, but MW5 also had this issue in the beginning even on windows
The only time it crashed for me was during cutscenes, i intially increased graphics to 4k but dropping that down seems to have fixed all the crashing
