Under [Controls] in Fallout4.ini add bBackgroundMouse=1 located in home/username/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/377160/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My Documents/My Games/Fallout4/Fallout4.ini after starting the game once
Did nothing special. Running Steam Native and already had ttf-ms-fonts installed.
Already installed fonts from AUR. Installed and works perfectly out of the box. Only tested online, no story mode.
Played solo offline but with the new Proton version, the server browser works
The game does appear to hang on the loading screen but letting it sit for a while does finally load. This only happens the first time. The only problem is mouse stuttering and input lag. I believe this is my mouse though and a polling rate issue.
Played the game for several hours with horrible stuttering, randomly decided to disable esync and the game runs perfectly now. Running on low I get around 100 fps. Here are my launch options: PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command% --set /Config/CONFIG/maxFpsValue 144
I was really hoping this game would work now that Denuvo has been removed. In good news, the game starts, but never gets passed the loading screen. Progress, but not there yet. Disabling Esync didn't make a difference.
