Game does not launch at all.
I would recommend removing the "gold" status from this game. It does not launch under any version of Proton, not even GE. Needs fixed ASAP, I will not install a Windows VM just to play Anarchy Online.
Game is very unstable on Proton
I want to note that I'm currently using the recommended Proton by default, but I tried experimental and the current GE version. Experimental and GE caused DD2 to crash my videocard before I even load into town. Default Proton lets me play the game, but it WILL lock up and crash my videocard after an undetermined amount of time.
I think the current issue with this game is that it just needs patching, directly from Capcom.
Tolerance for low FPS is not a common thing
FPS is very low, wavering between 15-25 FPS, with bursts of 60
I'm amending my previous entry for Dragon's Dogma 2. It seems after some patching and/or kernel updates, I am no longer experiencing PC halting crashes, or, I was able to play the game for a full hour with zero crashing. No inventory crash, no random system freeze while playing. It seems the only issue left is that FPS is god-awful, and then 60 during cutscenes.
Playable, if you want to hard-reset your PC every 10 minutes.
After launching the game and playing for about 10 minutes, Helldivers 2 will fully crash my graphics card and lock up my entire system.
The game is playable, for 10-15 minute sessions, and then it crashes your videocard and locks up your PC.
Game's borked, guys
Tried default rec, then GE, then 5.0, then 8.0, and then experimental
It seems no matter what version of Proton you attempt to use, this game is completely broken and unplayable. A shame. Hopefully a fix of some sort comes down the pipe at some point.
Got the launcher, but nothing else
If you switch to Experimental, you're able to get the launcher going. You can even log in and everything seems like it's ready to launch. But when you actually launch the game, the launcher crashes and everything stops. Going to agree with others, the anti-cheat software blocking this game from Proton (for now) is really dumb. Why does an anime gacha need anti-cheat software?
