Frequent crashes break the experience. Still playable. Not acceptable.
Slightly sluggish frame rate. Lowering anti-aliasing from ultra to high helped.
Crashes every ~30-45mins.
Game runs. No videos though. Sound is sometimes missing. I can save once - but subsequent saves fail regardless if overwriting or creating a new save. If I use Steam's 'Verify Integrity of Game Files...' feature there is always one file that fails and must be reacquired. My Wacom Cintiq Monitor's USB cord must be unplugged in order to navigate through in game menus. Otherwise the focused option automatically scrolls to the uppermost option in the menu. Hopefully the Anniversary edition has better results.
Runs great!! Just install 'FXAA Removal' from the Steam Workshop for a lag free experience :)
No issues running Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds - aside from occasional audio garbage (crackling). Haven't tried any tinkering.
Occasional audio garbage. Doesn't ruin the experience.
Game runs perfectly fine - but the few videos the game offers will not play (doesn't affect gameplay). A debug window pops up listing a directory for a .yst file that I can't locate. A few of the .ypf videos are playable w/ VLC media player. I can't tell if the issue is with Proton, the game engine, or a dependency. Wish I could locate that debug file.
Game runs perfectly fine. But, videos do not (doesn't affect gameplay). A debug window pops up with an output file in .yst format. Can't locate it though. A few of the .ypf videos are playable w/ VLC media player. Tried standard tweaks.
Game fails to launch, 'Failed to initialize graphics'. Launch Option, PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 %command%, works for The Room One & Two - but not for this game.
Game Crashes every ~5-10mins
Only able to play for a few minutes. Did not notice any graphical character glitches as others have.
Game was crashing every ~5-10mins before applying launch flag.
Character textures and building textures not working properly in certain areas - may pertain to shadows.
