Had to change to Proton exp. Intro scenes showed only single color screens ( red, green, or yellow). Proton exp. Cleared it up. 100% after that. Enjoy.
40hz/40fps limit. 5 watt tdp. Gets solid 40.
There is a pop up screen before the game starts. Something about out of date. Just click on "yes to all" with the touch screen. Game will start. Then it will be fine after that.
Small text is a bit blurry. But legible.
Volume is very low for this game. That's the way it just is by default.
No cloud save support. Only local game save.
Game works fine. There is a small optional tweak to make to the game file for higher Anisotropic filtering(default 4,can make it 16)=Dtop mode, open Steam, get in BIA local files. In "Engine" folder, config, then in BaseEngine.ini scroll almost all the way down to category{systemsettings}you'll see MaxAnisotropy=4. Change to 16. Then save it. Close it all out. Play with new setting.
40 frame limit/40 refresh rate. TDP 5 watts/ GPU 600. No FSR needed.
First window: Only if you use the Deck to exit the game. If you quit/exit the game within the game, you should not get this window. This is about the game not quitting properly. Go in safe mode? Tap on No. Second window: about your computer Changed. = Tap on No. Game will then resume to the menus. Again. NO on both windows/boxes.
This report is for the campaign portion, and spec ops. I did not DL the multi portion. That is a separate 4+gb.
I'm glad this is working. It's a fun campaign, and I always like to solo spec ops, and play w bots.
Changed to hold for ADS, and turned on mouse smoothing.
The usual : 40hz/40 fps limit. For TDP: 5watts/GPU @ 600. Pretty solid 40fps.
Great fps for the Deck. Can be played in small portions.
40 frame limit/40 refresh rate. TDP 6 watts/GPU 800 , FSR/sharpness 5
Multiplayer is a separate DL of 60+gb. So I didn't install that portion. This is only reporting the single player campaign portion.
Changed it around to my liking. Please feel free to try it. I called it :Deck Devotion. By a1i3nNATE.
TDP to 3 watts. Runs at solid 40.
It's a bit small. But can still be read.
Can not change to 1200x800(16:10) Game is 16x9 default.
Just changing to older proton 6.3-8 made it work fine. Use my control template for a bit more ease of use to play. Called:Deck Devotion. By a1i3nNATE.
Great hidden gem of a game. If you love stealth type of games, then you'll like this take on the genre.
The first launch was with default proton. It was pretty good. Then i tried proton exp. I perceived it to be a little more stable on the frames. Used 7 watts. It seemed like a more stable @ 40fps like that. Also, don't touch the screen to select any options. It gets stuck on K&B input. Then you have to restart the game to be back at controller input. No biggie.
Default proton works. It's just the beginning videos prior to the game menu that are discolored. Proton experimental plays all 100%. ALSO. It's better if you change the setting "interface scale" to zoomed.
Slight black bars on top and bottom of screen.
Nothing needed to do but enjoy the game.
Glad this game is fully playable out the box. Seems like multi is working too. I did not try that portion.
40 frame limit/40 refresh rate. TDP 5 watts/ GPU 800 No FSR needed.
This is only reporting the solo play portion of this game.
40hz with 6 TDP gets solid 40fps.
Make sure you mess with the deck control sensitivity, stick response rates, and dead zone to your liking. Also mess with the in game sensitivity, and acceleration options to your liking as well.
Just double check resolution and other settings. I also turned off physx related items like it was recommended by others.
