Error when a movie is supposed to play
4.11-13 is the only Proton version that allows all menus to function. The cinematic error that pops up in the background can also be closed by tabbing into it and pressing Space. After this, normal play may be resumed.

Performance:Slight Performance Problems
Turning off Vsync fixed the stuttering
It's entirely possible that it works without problems on any recent Proton version. The one and only step that fixed the graphical stuttering was turning off VSync in the game's own settings panel. Tinkering was thus probably unnecessary.

If you don't mind seeing video clips playing upside down, there's no need for protontricks to pick it up and play

quartz and wmp11 required for videos to play properly
However, if upside-down movie clips bother you then protontricks quartz and wmp11 are necessary to fix that.
