Game Crashes if XBox-Controller is connected. It works if the XBox-Controller isn't connected, but since it's recommended to play this game with a controller that doesn't really work for me.
Runs perfectly w/ controller as long as 'Steam Input' enabled in settings
Using an Xbox One controller, without 'Steam Input' enabled, game would crash upon the controller connecting. Runs perfectly fine enabling it; no slow downs or issues encountered after 8 hrs.

Works great straight out of the box! My only complaint is the button icons and UI are hard to see.
The button icons are very small, almost unreadable.
Changed one of the back grip buttons from "Dodge" to "Shoot" with "Hold to Repeat" enabled
Most in-game text can be a little hard to read. For some reason, the button prompts are also comically small as of launch.
Despite the Bronze rating (It was listed as such on 2-11-2023 for those of you coming from the future), I was able to play Alien Hominid Invasion on Steam Deck without any issues outside of maybe a long initial start-up time.
As of right now, it seems to be working fine out of the box, gameplay is fine, framerate is fine, didn't see any slowdown or graphical errors outside of the comically small button glyphs on the menus.
It works 'till I plug controller. Game ironically recommends to use controller for better experience. Games don't work as smooth as on Windows, but it maybe is just because I have diffrent hardware on my second pc.
Sometimes, audio just slows down and fastens up randomly.
By plugging in controller I completely crashed the game!

FPS drops on menu at the first launch but no drops after disabling VSYNC. Same issue that was seen on 2022 Demo/Beta (that one was not launching on Proton/Linux).
Tried 19 June 2023 Next Fest Demo.
