The game started, I was able to play it for 7 minutes, and then it crashed. and it never ran after that. nothing I could do would fix it.

Does NOT work out of the box as Steam says it does. Completely doesn't work. Using the steam default, after the first two logos, an error box shows up saying "Sorry! The game has crashed." If using a different version of proton (Proton Experimental, or GE-7-38) game will just freeze and require the device to be rebooted, under my experience.
