Works out of the box
No issues whatsoever
No issues whatsoever
Probably with newer Proton versions aswell. For me sometimes SteamVR refuses to start nearly any game after on has crashed which confuses the process to find the issue/working Proton version and so I was left with this version running after a system restart and did not change it.
Quite playable on Quest 2 with ALVR
Slight lag in song selection menu, probably related to streaming bitrate to Quest 2. No lag during gameplay.
The initial splash screen and the safety screen are rendered from the same camera location (⇒ does not look right, or 3D). The rest of the game works very well.
The game plays well on Quest 2 if you tweak the streaming settings on ALVR and/or if you use the USB setup (and if you use a good hardware codec, you'll likely have issues on AMD GPUs).
I expect it to work perfectly on wired headsets, as other users reported.
By the way, if you experience audio delays during gameplay you can pause the song and press the up/down arrow keys on the keyboard to sync it to the video.
The "acknowledge" screen does not allign with the panels in the headset but does not occur anywhere else in the game. I had some weird reprojection on one of the map at the start.
The game stutters a bit when starting a map but is overall smooth during gameplay
Fun game, highly recommend if you're looking to do some cardio
You can exercise those dance moves on linux.
Initial splash screen images do not align in your eyes
Similar to Synth Riders but a lot more effort required especially in cardio mode.
It is easy to get past of that first time notification screen even when your headset shows just artifacts.
HEAVY ARTIFACTS ON FIRST TIME NOTICE SCREEN. OTHERWISE EVERYTHING WORKS LIKE IT SHOULD BE. (Valve Index)
When the game starts first time there is some kind of notice that you need to accept before you can start the game. That notice screen is not visible at all in VR due the heavy artifacts but you can view it on your TV/Monitor. So take your VR helmet to the hand and look in the monitor where is button that needs to be clicked. Then click it using the VR hand controller. That way you can accept that notification and then game starts and there isn't anymore any issues. Everything works just like it should be...smooth and fast. When you start the game second time you can see few seconds some artifacts and then game starts automatically without any problems.
