Native almost works perfectly
I experienced the audio engine (fmod) failing to load while playing the native linux port of the game. The problem went away after switching to proton.

Multiplayer worked flawlessly in the base game campaigns and in the omenroad gamemode.
Played several campaigns and a few omenroad runs. Haven't noticed any issues, even in multiplayer.
gamemoderun %command%
Cutscenes sometimes become desynchronized between players, even on the same local network. Game sometimes fails to notice one of the players has left the game.

GOG Version does not launch
Installed XNA And vcredist
Even after installing vc and XNA through proton tricks it just wont load, does not even open.
Runs perfectly by default

The game is perfectly optimized and the charge lasts for 5 hours at 45 fps.

Switched to Proton because of mods.
Runs great natively. If you want to use mods, be warned that some mods expect a case insensitive filesystem and will silently fail to load some assets otherwise (leading to missing faces, invisible hair, etc.), so either ensure your filesystem casefolds or run the game through Proton.
A great example of an indie game with a very solid native port!
The game seems to block the rendering thread sometimes when loading/generating terrain. This can make gnome-shell complain about the program being unresponsive. It's very minor as load times are mostly quite short.
No need for Proton here, the devs have given us a rock-solid Linux-native port that I had pretty much zero issues with. I haven't played all the different campaigns yet, but so far the game has been rock-solid. Kudos to the devs.
Text is definitely on the smaller side.
Works well, though I think the game fits better on a monitor.
The smallest of menu text can be a little bit small, but it's still legible.
Works great, controls well, and pretty light battery usage too.

UI text is really small. Still playable on deck, but an external monitor is better.
I'm pretty sure the only reason Valve marked this down to Playable is the small text size, everything else works great.
Runs beautifully out of the box from Steam with no changes required
Beautiful game made even better by flawless Linux compatibility.

It works well. Need to call up the keyboard at a few moments manually, but works out of the box otherwise.
It's not so bad, but the game is text heavy. I preferred playing on an external monitor.

Flawless OOB on my system
Really well done RPG /Story game and runs like a dream in Linux
Game Crashes on Startup
Tried --console and -safe
I'm able to play this on a Windows computer with a Nvidia graphics card.
On my linux desktop with AMD graphics, the game will not start be it in Safe mode or using Proton. I've tried it with different disk drives to no avail. Additionally, I've run multiple run options including safe, console, and administrator and it still does not launch.
I'm certain this is a device specific issue and not a Linux issue overall, but it is admittedly frustrating.
Started a game and played together with a few Windows buddies flawlessly
Zero issues; game starts windowed initially and switches to fullscreen without issues.
After upgrading my old GPU to a newer AMD, the game worked natively PERFECT.
I had 15~25 FPS
