Would be perfect if not for the occasional audio popping. Still a decent experience.
When certain effects appear on screen, there are audible popping noises from the right channel. The most common occurance is with the blue banner at the start of each round (" Round 1... Go"). It's annoying but uncommon enough to be tolerable.
When using a gamepad layout during single-player play, you are always assigned the player 2 slot. This is the same behavior as on Windows. No effect on gameplay and you can still choose to start on the left side of the arena.
Games runs perfectly using Proton 9.0 (Beta 16)
I was able to connect to online multiplayer, but no players unfortunately ):
Borked
Shows a black screen for a few seconds and then closes itself. I tested using Proton 7.0-5 Flatpak community build.
set to lowest available resolution
upon startup, game opened up in a black screen briefly, and then stopped running.
No issues, worked for me both windowed and fullscreen. Did not try online though.
Actual gameplay works both with keyboard and controller. But enabling AA results in no video/black screen. Enabling Fullscreen causes the video to be stretched beyond the screen, alt+tab between desktop and back to the game fixes it.
This, surprisingly, ran mostly fine without any tweaking. In online mode, however, it disconnects outside or upon loading matches on occasion, though when I do get inside the match environment it runs perfectly. I will have to do further testing to see what is wrong.
