PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
Would not start with default proton or proton 9
Works perfectly out of box.
Works perfectly out of the box. No issues found.
Runs fine right out of box
no probs
WORKS 100%
Not sure what's different from last time, but now it works 100% - as good as windows, maybe better
scrolling lag is unplayable
any time the screen scrolls it would be super jerky - almost unplayable.

Fonctionne parfaitement à l'installation dans Steam.
Works as well as it does on Windows.
To use a keyboard, you have to go into Settings > Multiplayer and set Keyboard Player to 1.
Game just does not launch.

Stuck on a black screen unless PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% is used as a launch parameter

Varies depending on which version of Proton is used.
I play it using Proton 3.16-9, as it has no lag or performance issues under this version. Later versions of Proton might be fine with a tweak or two, but since I have a solidly working config, I have yet to tinker with the later versions of Proton.
Initial launch failed with "Win32 function failed: HRESULT: 0x80004005 Call: at line 266 in file \Graphics_DisplayM.cpp." Adding the Steam launch option "PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%" fixed it completely.
Won't start at all
Works out of the box perfectly.
Frame rate was terrible (around 5 fps). Using "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%" fixed it. Now runs smooth with or without vsync, windowed or fullscreen.
I've also locked the game process to CPUs 0 and 2 (half a single CCX and avoiding hyperthread) which took care of the last occasional stutters and let the CPU run between 3.8 and 4.0Ghz but this last one is probably a 1st gen Threadripper-specific issue rather than proton issue.
I'm using: "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 taskset -c 0,2 %command%" where 0,2 is the list of logical CPUs (Other more demanding games will need more CPUs)
Audio crackling occurs along with graphical "shudders"
Graphics "shudder" whenever enemies are on-screen, making it difficult to follow the action.

Runs out of the box, but there are slowdowns when fighting enemies for some reason.

Tried on Proton versions 4.2-7, 3.16-4, and 3.7-8. Upon launch it would display a Windows-style dialogue with the following error: Win32 function failed: HRESULT: 0x80004005 Call: at line 223 in file \Graphics_DisplayM.cpp Could be because of Intel drivers?

the game works near perfectly. my only issue is that it has noticeable input-lag, which makes the game unenjoyable, for me. disabling esync and d3d11 had no effect, neither did toggling vsync.

loaded up and worked smoothly out of the box. still have to test multiplayer.

Game plays in version 1.2.1, but crashes with the later updates.

Crackling sound issues (buffer under-run?), intermittent FPS drops, not ideal performance.
