Only works when you input the launch option suggested by the coon below. Sadly it will only work on desktop mode. I hear gamescope in the gaming mode wont render in WINE and so it work work there.
Game crashes shortly after waking deck from sleep. solution - dont put in sleep mode when playing.
Mostly good with occasional slow down. dont use sleep mode or game will crash.
Does not recognise Deck's native controls. You have to setup Steam input to use keyboard or mouse controls.
It'll run but you have to use keyboard controls which is no way to play a game like this.
Runs well enough on Steam Deck. Menu text is a bit small though.
30fps cap, medium settings (shadow low) = 3.3 hrs
works well but somethings in the settings pop up window dont fully render so you cant really adjust the settings so easily. The default settings seem fine at least.
Played well, FSR was impressive, shame linux version was broken but should be fixed by now.
540p + fsr + 30fps cap = 4hrs
Native Linux version was missing some important textures. Devs said they'll fix this tho
I could only run windows version so that textures werent broken. however that version would not install when i switched to proton. Deck would just say the DL was finished without actually doing anything. so i had to install it on my windows pc and copy over the files. Devs said native Linux version wont have issues any more though.
Pretty good on steam deck with some slowdown on some of the screens.
fps dips in presence of certain environements like water
games first boots into 4k res. you cant see the menu. I could not find config file to change res either.
I installed it on a windows device to see what buttons i need to press to get to the resolution settings. I present them here:
Once you are past the intro vid and are on the title screen, input: A, down, down, down, A, down, down, A.
thats puts you in the graphics options, first option is resolution so start pressing left / right +A till you are on a suitable resolution.
