PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
using WINED3D because my hardware doesn't support Vulkan
-force-d3d9
Plays well despite poor performance. Good gamepad support.
Text is a bit small overall. There is a buit-in UI scaling option that helps somewhat.
Performance tanks with either graphical setting on High, especially lighting which adds dynamic shadows. Even on Medium settings the battery will drain quickly.
Started up and was able to get in-game without issue.
As of 6.3-8 seems to be working great - didn't try multiplayer
Seems to be working fine with 6.3-8
Works out of the box without any problems, including the multiplayer. popos 21.10
Launcher opens, but upon clicking play the game fails to load.
the launcher loads, but clicking play just exits everything.
feels like the launcher attempts to load a "invalid file" as far as wine is concerned... retrovirus gets further, showing a black "bar"... i'm about to write it's report now. some sort of mini launcher appears. just by the odd shape.
.NET error during install, launcher runs, but game is broken.
On first run, this game reports a .NET error "You must use 'Turn Windows features on or off' in the Control Panel to install or configure Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5." Then the game's launcher runs, which shows the play button, but is missing other content. When the play button is pressed, the launcher closes but the game fails to initialize.
Fails to install "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5", which then causes "Microsoft XNA Framework Redistributable 3.1" to fail as well.
Got past the "need 2.0 to install 3.5" message by protontricks 45000 dotnet20
, and it launched the launcher, but hitting "play" crashes it. Can't even get into the game menu proper.
.net errors
net framework errors, won't run
Doesn't get past installing .NET 2.0. I believe the issue is related to Proton not supporting 32-bit games. See: https://steamcommunity.com/app/45000/discussions/0/630802344331447498/
.NET Framework won't install with "XNA Framework 3.1 requires at least .NET 2.0" popping up later.
