Pristine experience
Works perfectly out of the box
Proton 7.0-2 crashes, but Proton Experimental works flawlessly.
Instant crash with or without older proton version suggested by others.
Both DX 9 and 11 work after setting proton version to 4.2-9 in game preferences. Tested with two controllers without any issues.
Game refuses to launch while controller is plugged in, making it impossible to play with one.
Inability to use a controller restricts players to the keyboard. This also seems to completely eliminate any possibility of local multiplayer, as there does not appear to be a way to have multiple players use the keyboard. Online multiplayer works just fine, though there was some lag (likely a connection issue).
Proton version 4.2-9 worked for me on both DX9/11, I tried later versions along with GE-Proton and they didn't work for me
Special thanks to thenewjeva for a solution
Game flashes a white screen for a split-second before immediately exiting.
Tried on both DX11 and DX9 modes, and played with the following options:
-Forced OpenGL Renderer
-Forced Esync off
-Large Address Aware
I tried on both Proton 5.0-5 and 4.11-13
Had some crashes with the dx11 version but the dx9 version seems to run great.
Both DX9 and DX11 versions work perfectly without any tweaks
