Both native and Proton versions run pretty well. However, I had a few crashes of the native version, approximately every 2-3 hours of game time. The proton version runs perfectly stable.

When installing with Proton 6.3-8, the Rockstar Launcher only showed a black screen with an error message stating that the launcher was already running. This was fixed by changing to Proton Experimental. On the first launch with Proton Experimental the same error appeared (although the launcher had already started). Simply quit out of the launcher and restart, everything worked flawlessly afterwards.
