Plays great!
Controls are not working for me at least and at this time. Plus text that describes items or upgrade choices is super small and hard to read
Tried unsuccessfully to customize the controls but nothing allowed me to exit the escape shuttle.
All text descriptions on secondary systems were nearly impossible to read(Tiny).
Game worked out of the box with no changes needed.
Connected to private universe with 1 other player. No issues at all.
Online multi-player works fantastically, no bugs or issues. No stuttering or crashes with the current version (game is Early Access)
It works with Proton Experimental.
There was a lot of stuttering for periods of time, then it'd run smooth, then it would be a persistent stutter until restarting the game.
The stuttering issues I was experiencing could just be the game itself - an alpha - or possibly my hardware. Who really knows. Maybe just need to fiddle with graphics settings some more or drop resolution to 1920 from 3440.
Finally playing this with new hardware, and it's amazing. Works right out of the box.
Installed, runs perfectly in 4 player coop. Gameplay issues I faced were also reported by the 3 Windows players - general bugs only.

It is way to laggy and slow, you cannot really play it yet.
Very laggy
Works very well out of the box.

Keyboard inputs now work; game appears to run fine.

Previous versions of Proton and Wine seemed to have problems with accepting keyboard output. As of (at least) Proton 4.2-5, there seems to be no more problems running the game out-of-the-box.

Works out of the box. None of the previous stutters or FPS drops are present anymore. This runs just as good, or bad, as on Windows. FPS between 60 - 144.

You'll need to manually install dinput to do any action in game. Also the FPS are somehow low at maximum settings ( ~ 40)

Runs out of the box, but the fps seems to stutter a lot. You can play it, but it does not feel smooth.

Runs well after aplying "PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%" launch option. The game requires GTX980 and I only have GTX950 therefore the performance is poor, but in 1280x720 and low settings it is playable with 25-30 FPS.

No character model nor NPCs

You need drivers with Tranform Feedback/Stream Output support (i.e nvidia 396.54.09) to render all the characters. Works out of box. With ryzen taskset -c 0-7 was used to make it perform better. It seems to cap the framerate to 60FPS, as proton reports my monitor as 60Hz, even though its 144hz, regular wine detects it fine. framerate sometimes locks down to 50 or 45 when it has few shader caching stutters, it will lock itself back to 60 after some time or when bringing up the menu. Multiplayer worked also, did not test for long though, was able to join a server and was running around 10 min. Input works, chat works. Only place where you cant type is when you create your character, can't type the name.

Player and all Aliens (except for the Parasites) are invisible. Game crashes upon entry in Mine of Baldur. Apart from that very playable.

Certain models will be invisible unless PROTON_USE_WINED3D is enabled. After joining a game, the keyboard and the mouse will stop working. Also, it makes my computer unstable and I need to restart it.

Game runs, but almost all npc models an the PC model are invisible. The keyboard input doesn't work on textboxes. (Played on private server with friends).
Missing models might be related to: https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41295
-force-d3d9 option crashes.

Game loads with some functionality only. Main menu seems ok but models do not load properly and cannot start a new avatar as parts are not shown and keyboard does not function in parts (ex. set char name).

The game launches. Character Models are invisible. The game will load and render, but keyboard/mouse functionality does not work once in game.
