you need to kill the dx process and then game will launch fine.

Game crashes at start
Failed to initialize graphics. Make sure you have DirectX 11 installed, have up to date drivers for your graphics card and have not disabled 3D acceleration in display settings. InitializeEngineGraphics failed
However the problem above can be solved by using wined3d but it runs bad and gives graphical error, literally unplayable. I think this error only appears in older video card so if you have a newer video card this game might run fine for you
Works great, feels better than Windows.

Any person looking to play this game will be able to play it in full.
very slight problems, just need to turn water from high to medium, on windows I can go high on all.
It just works. no problems that i see at all
This game is working without problems or bugs for me
Shows main menu but crashes upon clicking any buttons
Just enable Steam Play for all other titles on Steam settings, install, and play immediately after that. It's just that simple.

Originality crashed on start, but renaming the file "user_settings.sample.py" to "user_settings.py" fixed the problem
Rarely crashes
100% playable, but performance takes a noticeable hit coming from Windows 10. Also performance degrades over longish sessions.
FPS dropped from time to time and got worse the longer the play session, restarting the game resets this issue. overall FPS seemed less than running natively on Windows

No configuration required
Sometimes, the windowed option's resolution would be slightly off. Was easily fixed by quickly changing window size right as game started.
Runs Perfectly
Regarding custom aircraft:
Due to the nature of .splane files (the files used for user made vehicles), you will have to manually load the files in by loading the aircraft into the game by using the splane file's ID (found within the .splane file or in the plane's URL (shown in hard brackets) (https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/[ZG93Mg]/Lockheed-Martin-F-16D-Block-60)).
This can be done in the designer by copying the ID, and ingame, pressing CTRL-L. Once done, the game will download the plane data like you would on Windows.

Ran at full specs right after install.

Smooth apart from the first launch where I had to restart the computer.

Apart from the initial install of DirectX, the game launched and can be played smoothly.

Had to turn down the graphic settings from high to medium to get decent framework but other than that it worked nicely

Works without tweaks. Played with xbox one controller

Everything works, game does not like minimizing (it's black screen after you maximize it)

Just installed with steam compatibility enabled, works perfectly out of the box.

A unity loading bar pops up, but C2Ds soon after.

It just works, it works out of the box, enable proton for all titles then download and install SimplePlanes. Click play and it works immediately.

Works after enabling WineD3D11 (PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%)

Game crashes on startup. Developer says it "might be possible" to run the game via Proton when they update the game's Unity engine.

Never starts, C2D

Mostly the main menu is not visible, but sometimes it worked after some restarts. Then I could enter the game and play.

I got only a blue sky image on DXVK and then nothing happens anymore

Good running

Game crashes on start

Works just fine out of the box. Only issue: on some menus the fonts are not rendered

Works well using DirectX, although the controls screen is blank (totally unpopulated). OpenGL causes blank main menu. Still playable though.

Game crashes on start

alt-tabbing works fine for me

Works perfectly fine, no workarounds needed

Alt-Tab works only sometimes, some menus show buttons but no text on them. Rest works. Performance is fine.

Game works fine. Some menu options are blank.

Alt tab causes game to stop working, otherwise works as intended
