lack of sound/music and videos being mirrored and upsidedown is not a great way to experience this game
added various codecs from ProtonTricks, just to randomly test them
In-menu music and sound doesn't work. No voice, sound effects or music in-game. Have tried other Protons (standard and GE) and none seem to work.
The in-menu music and sound doesn't work. There is no voice, sound effects or music in-game. Videos are mirrored and upsidedown. Have tried GE-Proton9-25 and other Protons (both standard and GE) and none seem to work. I've tried installing sme codecs via Proton Tricks with no success. I have emailed Xseed directly, and messaged them on the Steam discussion page, but have had no reply to either. I really hope someone can find a way to get this game to work properly! If you don't care about the sound or cutscene videos, it seems to work ok.

Could Not Progress Past First Area
The opening video is upside-down but can be skipped. The opening cutscene and first battle works fine, but once given control in the overworld, nothing is interactable.
No sound, one could try to install xact through protontricks, i didn't bother

所有视频都颠倒了 All videos are upside down.

Completely broken in game
Cutscenes are upside down with all tested proton versions
Don't get this game on steam deck / Linux. Hoping they will fix it but don't think they care
Having no audio makes it VERY difficult to play the game. Reverting to a previous GE release did not solve the problem either.
No SFX at all, no BGM, occasional voice audio.
This is an update from a previous submission on another machine.
Unplayable on SD with ay Proton version. With default, you can start a game briefly, but it crashes seconds after loading textures. Doesn't load at all with Experimental and GE 8.3.
No Proton version currently makes the game stable enough to play.
When first launching, you'll need to set the resolution to that of your screen as it defaults to 1080.
Upside-down movie sequences

No Voice, related to missing AAC decoder perhaps?
Videos upside down.
Missing BGM
Stuttering
The game did not crash for me on loading screens, but it did crash during a cut scene where the player is supposed to make an input.
no voices or BGM
game always crashes on loading screen without fail
I tired diffrent protons and the same thing happens. Crashing on loading screens without fail.
The game is smoother than windows on Proton Experimental.

Playable with some missing audio
BGM is completely missing. Some voice audio is also missing. Did not test cutscene audio as cutscenes were disabled (required to start game) as of this report.

Disable movies on start up screen. If you get a "no DX11" error, be sure you have installed the i386 Vulkan drivers for your GPU. They may not appear by default in your system's package manager, for example, Synaptic. Debian/Ubuntu: sudo apt install mesa-vulkan-drivers:i386 and/or sudo apt install libvulkan1:i386

The game run flawless, except the BGM and voices in cutscenes that doesn't work. Also, it's needed to mark "disable movie" to access the in-game main menu.

no audio of bgm was playing in battle and general gameplay

failed to initalize Directx 11

I followed other contributions (I disconnected video in the launcher, etc..) and everything seemed ok

Disable in-game movies and it will run at around 30FPS. It does have SFX and character voices, but no BGM. No tweaks were needed to get an Xbox 360 controller working.

For running needs WineD3D11, disabled movies in launcher, and disabled steam input for using generic gamepad. Music and character's voices not playing.

videos won't play, but there's an option to disable them in the launcher so you don't get stuck on a black screen. After doing that, everything else worked fine.

You get the configuration prompt, the game crashes and exits.

Infinite black screen after start-up, known bug, see winehq bug #45710

got into the startup menu but it did not boot after that.

Initial configuration page is showing, but game won't actually start.
