Works perfect natively
It was only necessary to change the resolution (2560x1440) in the configuration file:
.frozenbyte/Trine3/options.txt
setOption(renderingModule, "ScreenWidth", 2560)
setOption(renderingModule, "ScreenHeight", 1440)
Works great on Linux like all the other titles in this series

Tried various Protons but had multiple saves hang particularly on small side quests. Not a huge deal and didn't have issues with main story adventure.

Deck by default locked to 30 fps - open config file (check PCGW for location), change "OnBatteryFramerateLimit" to 60, change "OnBatteryRenderingQualityReductionEnabled" to false if you want
Medium settings recommended, can try allow tearing and use in-game Vsync, plays well, perfect for Deck

Check PCGW for Config file location
Medium settings, plays well

The native version doesn't work on Ubuntu 22.04, but the Windows version works fine out of the box with Proton.
Runs a bit slowly, but it may be just my computer.
Crashed when trying to play an older version for speedrunning, the most recent patch works perfectly fine.
I didn't try multiplayer (yet). Additionally, I used the experimental version of Proton because that's the one I use normally.

The game is only playable through proton but crashes very frequently. Do not recommend playing it.
Had to use gamescope to make it fullscreen properly. Like 1 and 2 this also only supports 1080p as max resolution.
Runs terribly.
When running through proton performance is good but crashes very often.
Set the refresh rate to 45Hz. Enabled v-sync ingame.
you have to manually select the gamepad in settings before it works
You need GE version otherwise game will crash with dll errors
Works very well out of the box. The game's launcher supports the Steam Deck native resolution, and can be used with the game's default (official) controls layout (standard gamepad with joystick trackpad + grip buttons assigned as XYAB). It runs consistently at 60 fps on "very high" graphics presets.

Game works for me native on Linux but only with graphical glitches. On Proton it works out of the box. I installed manually D9VK and it worked as well fine with this DX9 to Vulkan translation even with the new ACO compiler.
