Game works perfectly right out of the box with no tinkering needed. Had no issues at all

Just won't launch. "Failed to create graphics device "
gamemoderun %command%
Shows a popup with that message. on X11 the popup doesn't show... Proton experimental likely not needed

The game only support resolution up to 1920x1080. But there's no need to use gamescope, you can use built-in sharp/integer graphic scaling,
Works out of the box

while i will always recommend playing the original version if one can do that, WME is a decent no-hassle alternative for Steam Deck/Linux players since the original version's native Linux port is reported to be riddled with issues.

This version of the game is kind of like Doki Doki Literature Club Plus where it uses a fake OS to allow manipulation of game files. Very happy this is now properly supported on Linux and Steam Deck.
Edited desktop.dat as my resolution wasn't recognized (3440x1440)

No real issue really. Runs perfectly fine.

No tinkering required and it feels like everything just works. for controlling the mouse Touchscreen is great, R stick is great and so is the right touch pad. the controls are just very well thought out. I sometimes do wish that I had a mouse but overall i've enjoyed my experience.
