Game runs perfectly.
Zero issues with launching & ingame controls.
Graphically intense game since it was rereleased so I recommend these settings for mostly stable 30fps while keeping the game looking good. You'll only drop a bit below 30 when running through thicker foliage.
Good amount of game can run at higher fps too (especially indoor levels) but this is for full playthrough consistency.
Limit FPS to 30 in steam for consistency.

Game may not launch firstly run, but if you click on "Verify Files" that should do the trick.
Full playthrough of 10th Anniversary Update without issues
Played through all of the content in the 10th Anniversary update including hidden level without problems. The menu text is flickering, not sure if bug or design choise, but it occurs on Windows too so it is not Proton specific.

Works well enough, the only real annoyance is having to pull the game back up after every loading screen or video transition. It's not so bad once you're in game as it doesn't happen often, unlike when you start up the game and navigate the menus

As soon as I started, it would not display and it would crash immediately. Sometimes I would get an error message with some of the different screen size sittings.

When on fullscreen it minimizes sometimes when I'm on a new level
when i'm on a new level on windowed mode then my mouse isn't in the game. i have to click on the game again

For a reason the game wasn't focused when I started it. I had to click once to focus it (and being able to move the character, etc.). This might be a general bug in the game and might be in the Windows version too.
Runs flawlessly out of the box
The one minor, insignificant thing I've noticed is that when the game started and you begin playing, the player must click with the mouse before being able to control the character. Otherwise, only the cursor can be moved across the screen.
Works fine with D9VK and FSYNC. Using wine D3D makes the game minimize automatically and performs worse than D9VK.
Game works perfectly now with Steam launch option "PROTON_USE_D9VK=1 %command%". Great performance , and no issues with the game being minimized in fullscreen mode.
Game crashes when trying to start the game from the games launcher. Tried both in fullscreen and windowed mode, switching back to older Proton 3.16-9 the game launches.
Game works perfectly windowed out of the box with solid 60fps and no stuttering. But in fullscreen the game starts minimized, so you have to bring up the screen, and then it minimizes again several times during intro screens.
I had to alt-tab a lot when starting the game, but when the game is running there were no problems.

You need to set the game to run on Windowed mode. in full screen he get out of focus everytime

Set the game to Windowed mode on the launcher, in fullscreen the game gets stuck between loading screens (just a black screen as someone else reported, but you can make it continue by alt+tab between desktop and game). In windowed mode the game runs without problems.
