Works fine - The reason it crashes is because you're missing the required hardware. Not any fault of Proton. The same happens on Windows.
This game requires specific hardware to function properly, this was not tested as I don't own the required device.
I have posted a review on Steam for this game that outlines how to access the game without the hardware it was made for, if you just want to try it out.

Intro Valve logo only, then it crashes

Intro screen, and then just close, no way to play it, might be because of the hardware required, not supported i guess
After intros it quits.
