Native version works out of the box like it would on Windows, no issues at all

They need to understand, Postal was released in 1997, so it's not going to have the same Hi-Fi sound and fancy graphics that a modern game.
Can be a little Sensitive to control inputs, probably because this was originally released on DOS/Windows 9x
Runs great natively. Just a little fast with the mouse, and I had to switch back to the old Arrow Key Layout for walking as I prefer that.

Native support and works right out of the box.
Postal works right out of the box because it has native support. You get a free achievement for playing on Linux or Mac too. In a worse scenario, you can run the Windows version with Proton or Wine, but I haven't dealt with that issue.

Everything worked just as well as the Windows version.
Cloud saves even work cross platform which is nice given how rare that is.
No problems here.
It worked perfectly

Some weapons, like the shotgun, break while playing on Steam Deck requiring the touchscreen. The rocket launcher can sometimes shoot to the left of where I touch.
Works OOTB flawlessly
Native Linux game, runs perfectly OOTB.
This is a native Linux game, should run with zero issues on any distro.
I know its native, but damn, it ran so good! Love this game
ive noticed with pipewire for some reason the audio is really soft, i use pulse but just tested
Game ran perfectly with no tinkering required, I played through the entire campaign with no issues.
Bind Enter to a button for menu access
The native Linux port holds up fine, and you can enjoy it with no issues.
You even get an achievement for running the game on Mac/Linux
The game is bizarre, loud and obnoxious by design. Other than that, runs perfectly fine with native build
