Loading shaders the first time takes a lot, ad the game crashed multiple times due to exceeding the time available for loading them.

gamemoderun %command%
Runs really well, took a while to compile the shaders at first though.

Local co-op with two controllers. Perfect experience.
Only played 1h30 so far, but for me it worked perfectly OOTB. Also no problem playing with someone on windows who was using a friend's pass

A perfect experience
setting a SDL env var for my dualsense fixed it
I had a friend join with sunshine, we played through the entire game withtout any hiccups

Occasionally there would be sudden performance problems for a whille. Usually gone after restart
The game wouldn't run on the correct GPU

Mostly fantastic, but fairly frequent hitching/mini freezes
Frequent hitching and mini freezes
An absolute blast, and fantastic otherwise
Works great and is really fun!

Game has no graphical glitches or problems with framerate but the frequent crashes and long launch time make it annoying to try to complete

After some amount of time, 5-30 minutes the game freezes and crashes Cinnamon DE, kicking me back to my login screen. Tried adjusting graphic settings and using dedicated fullscreen and borderless window modes with no change in behavior.
I'll update this report if i find a fix or a fix comes through a different proton version.

I assume not everyone has the same issue as me, but even if you do, the game is still playable, you just need to restart it every 1-2 hours.

When I first launch the game, everything runs smoothly and without issues. However, after playing for a while - especially in more intense areas with lots of effects and particles - the game starts stuttering heavily. Occasionally, various artifacts appear, such as broken textures and other visual glitches. I'm not sure if it's because the VRAM is maxing out or due to something else, but restarting the game temporarily fixes the problem.
Overall, the experience was enjoyable.
Did run without any issues. Performance was better then expected. First week my PS5 Gamepad didnt worked, later it did.

After about an hour of playtime, the game started to stutter violently, making the game basically unplayable. This happened only in more intense action scenes with lots of particles and effects. I did not experience stutter in calmer scenes. Because of this, I turned down the graphics settings to high instead of ultra, but I haven't yet tested whether that helps. Restarting the game seems to fix it temporarily.
At some point, the aforementioned stuttering got so bad that I attempted to alt-tab out of the game to search for possible solutions online, but that caused KWin to freeze, and my system became completely unresponsive and had to be force-reset.
In spite of the stuttering, the game runs at a good, stable frame rate, even on the highest graphics settings.

Full Play Through No Issues
My wife and I completed a full play through of Split Fiction without any issues. It ran out of the box for us, no tinkering, no proton (manually set at least), and no complaints to report. Split Fiction was a fantastic experience for us playing split-screen co-op with Xbox controllers.

Flawless
Played the entire campaign with a friend who was on Windows; no issues whatsoever.

Controllers disconnect (2 player split screen) shortly after starting playing.
My Steam family members can't install friend-pass, so I opted for split screen but that has controller problems.

gamescope -W 2560 -H 1440 -r 180 -f --hdr-enabled -- env DXVK_HDR=1 %command%
Everything works great out of the box. No tinkering needed.

完美运行,没有任何问题
已经游玩数个小时,没有遇到任何问题,运行非常完美。

Game works flawless without any launch options, i have these set as default so i dont have to change them for each game since they are ~universal(sometimes helps with Nvidia issues)

Lag spices in scenes with a lot of particles makes the game unplayable in cruical scenes (e.g. boss fights)
prime-run %command%
Scenes with a lot of particles (or when the other player dies) cause laggs (1-3 fps) for a few seconds after which the game runs smoothly again.
Under Windows the game runs completely fine even with higher graphic settings
Great game, on my system only enjoyable under windows :( This could be a result of the dual GPU setup as many other players don't seem to experience this issue.

Works amazing right away. No tweaks needed. Almost through the entire game with a friend online through steam servers. Not a single issue.
Used Steam Servers

Runs out of the box, the online coop via Steam also works perfectly. No problems of any kind.
Everything runs smoothly, try it!
Sometimes crashes when disconnecting a controller.

A bit of stuttering during some scenes
I had major stuttering and frame drops and when trying HDR using gamescope, ended up disabling it and it ran a lot better.
Excellent
Everything works out of the box

No issue, works great straight out of the box

i downloaded the friends pass version and worked for 2.5 hours with no crash

Worked out of the Box
My wife and I played split screen co-op in a 5.6 hour session last night with no issues. I didn't have to enable Proton manually, although Steam is set to force Proton 9 in the compatibility settings. I had one hiccup on startup, right after you have to accept the EA agreement. I just started the game again after that, and it's been working flawless since, so far.

Played the friends pass with someone on Windows and it worked perfectly

Reduce the graphics since this game will eat up 8GB of VRAM quite fast and this will induce stutering.
Just considerer your hardware when playing, reduce some graphical settings when playing with under 8GB of VRAM i got i access to the game by playing through Friend Pass.

Works great!
I did not buy the game, I am playing the "Friend Pass" version and being invited by a friend on Windows and playing in the EA App.

Installed with Steam as "Play Split Fiction - Friend's Pass", was able to be invited without any issues. Tested with keyboard and mouse.
Not a single crash within 4.6 hours, just one or two very short freezes, which my co-op partner also had on Windows.

Launched with SteamDeck verified status. Can personally conclude that this game runs very well on linux.
Game crashed at first launch before the main menu. Second launch was perfect, no bugs, glitches & etc.
