Runs amazing, no issues.
The game doesn't support cloud saves, so if you wish to copy your save data across, you need to put both your SAVEX.Midnight and SETTINGS.midnight files into the games data folder, otherwise no issue at all.

Works well after fresh install using default steam settings. No issues to report.
No issues, Works as it should.

gamescope -W 2560 -H 1440 -r 144 -f -- %command%
Had some serious stuttering using Hyprland, especially using uncapped FPS limit. Using gamescope made the uncapped fps limit work perfectly.

gamescope -W 2560 -H 1440 -r 144 -f -- %command%
I was getting some serious stuttering on Hyprland using the uncapped FPS limit. Using gamescope fixed the issue and made uncapped FPS work perfectly.

Had letter boxing going on, changing the resolution around a few times fixed it.
BEFORE USING GE-Proton; ending videos wouldn't play
AFTER USING GE-Proton; videos are playing just fine
If you play the game with just base steam provided proton you will miss out on end game cutscenes, if you use GE-Proton (I used 8-32 cause what I had already) it fixes that problem right up.
gamemoderun %command%

In game manual is a little hard to read on the screen but magnifier helped, this does not impact normal gameplay

A bit stuttery at times
FMVs work using Proton GE.

The castle area drops frames down to 40 ish
Not sure how to explain this but the game feels weird at 60fps, the counter shows it running locked at 60 but it feels stuttery, it's hard to explain. Locking it to 50 fixes this though.
Videos for some secrets and endings don't play on the Deck as of right now.

The game plays great on Steamdeck unmodified, but has minor control issues and broken FMVs, will hopefully be patched soon.
Using the Steamdeck's built in controls: Standard attacks, performed by tapping the right trigger, can sometimes "stick" when attacking repeatedly and instead charge into a power attack that won't fire untill the trigger is pressed again. This can be a bit irritating during hectic fights, but is hardly gamebreaking.
FMV files, which the game uses for multiple secrets that I won't spoil here will not play correctly when playing on Steamdeck. While the audio, which consists only of atmospheric music, DOES play, the actually important video does NOT play forcing the player to look up the footage on youtube, significantly breaking the wonderful sense of immersion the game creates. A second, much more minor, issue is that the menu of the leaderboard at the end of one of the game's optional challenges can't be navigated or closed with gamepad controls and must instead be operated with mouse controls.
In my opinion, this game's Steamdeck status should be 'Playable' rather than 'Verified', at least untill the compatability issues I've pointed out have been patched.

Works great out of the box. No major issues, running the game, were found

Perfect!
Full playthrough, no issues. This game is an early access title still in development, so it's only a "full" playthrough at this point in time.
A retro styled FPS drawing inspiration from KingsField and other older Fromsoft fantasy titles, but resembles games like Hexen as well
Tested out the game and it seems to work just fine. Will write another report after a full playthrough
works fine, no issues, would get stuck a bit when looking at new items but might be because of my old harddrive
works well with the newest standard version of proton
4 hour battery life on max settings with no performance options changed.
The only issue I experienced was a video clip in the overworld (not a cutscene) not playing properly. No clue if that's a bug with linux.

Borked with Proton 7, but swapping to anything earlier it runs fine, tested 5.13 and 6.3.
After swapping to an older Proton version, worked perfectly fine without issue.
