Unsatisfactory performance with NVIDIA GPUs.
Borderline unplayable at any settings above the lowest
Would crash every so often after the loading has been completed before going into the main menu.
Can't play at any settings above the lowest without encountering significant frame rate issues.
The same system was used to play the game at a mix of Medium-High settings with Windows.

Just had to kill the process DXSETUP and the game started immediately and everything worked fine
Can only load the game using Proton7.0-6. Title screen comes, EA confirmation code popups and then crashes when trying to press send code.

Happened 2-3 times in 15 hours of gameplay, restarting the game solved it.
The game was underutilizing the gpu randomly (happened 2-3 times, restarting the game solved it).
TDP limit set to 11W and getting 55-60FPS on default settings

I was stuck with Running install script (Microsoft DirectX) when launching the game without switching to older version of proton. Switching the version solved it for me.
The framerate is not ideal and I have tried multiple versions of proton and multiple different launch options.

The framerate is half of what I get on windows with high settings and medium ray traced reflections on windows and the lowest settings on linux, this seems odd as all the other reports show no indication of significant performance issues. This is even more significant since I tested F1 22 running under a virtual machine using single GPU passthrough. For reference on windows I get 80 fps, and on linux i get 30-40 fps. Two other people with similar PCs get the same performance issues that I do on linux.

Nvidia Ray Tracing doesn't work

lock it up at 40hz, mix of graphics on med, textures high, be sensible and it will look and run great! Using GE proton 7_42
back grips as paddle shifters, a must!
really good on deck, the odd framerate drop with lots of cars and bad weather, but you barely notice it. Very good on deck, highly recommended!

Alt tab not working, unable to return to game
G29 detected but no longer works since the last game update. The keys are inverted ( square to round for example) and the rotation is no longer detected in play.
Crash frequently at launch since last updated
The Steam overlay no longer works, so you have to leave the game to join an invitation. It is therefore impossible to invite someone into the game.
You’ll have more fun playing on AC or ACC. The teams behind F1 22 are sorely lacking in seriousness. We’re still talking about a so-called AAA...
Crashes on menus and when starting a race
Crashes when you first load the main menu when it tries to get you to unlock a supercar, but if you mash Enter you can get through it before it crashes. Crashes when you try to create an Avatar.
If you skip all that, it crashes when you try to start a race, during the loading screen.

Ran fine before patch 1.09. Now the game crashes as soon as you try pressing any button past the initial menu.
Game no longer runs as of the latest patch
Crashes to desktop before reaching the main menu. Tested the usual - latest Proton, experimental, latest GE Proton and verifying the integrity of the cache. It's a shame as this game has been working perfectly up to this point.
Some new patch has broken the game completely (probably cross-play update)
The game was working before, but with slight performance loss compared to Windows (Around 30% from my testing). I even managed to get FF working pretty easily. However, after a patch it crashes right after the "press any button" screen
