right trackpad click mapped to A
mostly OK, might be hard for some
19:10, 19:9 aspect ratios, 19:9 causes a flickering border on the bottom.
during game start, game end, and saving
better to play with m/kb. Using default layout with touchpad as mouse is a little better, but navigating through ingame menus with Dpad almost never has the correct focus, and is hard to navigate. Using the touchpad remidies this, but the default is touchpad as joystick, which provides very bad control. Potentially a fun game for deck, but has very bad controller support.
Using proton 8 results in saves freezing the game for many seconds at a time. Use proton 7 to avoid this issue.

gameplay and story are really good, not sure about replayability but there are many classes to choose
some hotkeys are weird, had to make combo inputs
the game have autosave everytime you enter in towns and the game freeze for 10sec ish until its done
Works out of the box

Switch to Proton 7.0-6 to prevent lag issues
Playing with Proton Experimental would cause constant game lag during Autosaves and zone changes. Switching to 7.0-6 fixed this issue for me.

Overall seems to run fine.
Run this on just regular Proton 8-3; i had run this on GE-Proton8-11 and i experienced some fairly drastic slowdown on saving. Now its possible that it was just my first time running it caused problems; but its not entirely clear. The game still has a slight hang on saving, but switching to regular from GE reduced it from a few seconds to less than a second.

Touch screen was used to click "accept" and navigate some of the menu options.

The demo works
I only played online for a few minutes to verify. This was with the demo version of Hammerwatch 2 since it hasn't released yet.
Proton 7. Had one error pop up for singleplayer but clicking through it allowed the game to play properly.

The demo works flawlessly under Proton as of now
Thoroughly a great experience. Runs absolutely perfectly.
