Didn't work at all with the default wine from Heroic (it said, that there were internet connection issues), but switching to the newest Proton-GE Version available on Heroic solved the issue
"Online services unavailable" - Can't get past TOS.
After accepting TOS the game is supposed to open a new tab on your default browser, where you accept the TOS - it didn't open the default browser though. So the game wouldn't let me play online (thus not let me play at all). While this issue can arise under Windows, on Win11 there seem to have been no problems whatsoever.
MANGOHUD= "1"
graphics pop in flicker
using wine-tkg improved the preformance A LOT, and is now playable with a stable 50+ fps
Launching straight from Steam, would a typical gamer enjoy playing this game on Linux even without tinkering? no, there is a big preformance problem (at least for me)
MANGOHUD = "1"
graphics flicker
even on lowest settings, the framerate was not reaching past 30, and had a common FPS count of about 20 in online matches
the FPS was VERY BAD (moderate fps was about 20-30 and no higher) even on lowest settings it didnt do much
tldr, not reccomended unless you enjoy 20-30 fps in games, im not judgin

Low frame rate on some situations, 10fps when the victory animation plays.
Crossplay works great.
Used Heroic Launcher to play the epic games version, didn't had to tweak anything besides using GE-Proton and online worked flawlessly.

Being unable to successfully play as Demons is really disappointing and I don't think the average person would enjoy working around that.
Severe framerate drops when playing as Demons whenever possession ends. Framerate doesn't recover until match ends. Demons effectively unplayable. Similar framerate drops during end-of-round cutscenes, but this is brief and does not affect gameplay.
Sometimes receive "Fatal Error" when loading into a match.
Requires newer version of Proton due to bugs with EAC, but it does work. Received vague "a member of your party exited the session" (paraphrased) error when this occurred, so it was not clear the problem was with anti-cheat.
Works pretty well out-of-the-box but really needs some performance improvements.
Character selection screen text, as well as some other tutorial text is very small and difficult to read.
When playing in demon mode, possessing anything causes a major frame rate drop that makes it hard to keep track of in game action.
The game runs mostly well. You can configure your graphical settings to get around 25-30 fps during survivor gameplay on mostly high-medium settings.
When playing as a demon, things start to take performance hits and the game slows down.
Some in-game text such as tutorial pop-ups are a bit hard to read
Some settings need to be adjusted to improve performance.
Video settings I used are: Resolution scale - medium* | View distance - medium | Post processing - high | Shadows - high | Textures - high | Effects - medium* | AA quality - high |
*these items greatly impact the FPS for the game
Works out of the box (Kubuntu 22.04LTS, Ryzen 5 3600, 32BG RAM, GeForce RTX2080 SUPER)
Works fine on Nobara 37, Game is a little dark (as in hard to see) on my end but otherwise run as smooth as in a windows 10 installation.
A little darker than it should be, turned brightness all the way up.
Minor stuttering
Not any problems regarding the linux usage, only dev/saber issues.
Got the game for free on EpicGames and so far it works fine with little to no tinkering. Had to use the latest Proton prefix trought the Heroic Launcher, not sure how the steam version will be as of April 26th.
