I was having the same problem some reviewers mentioned of the game crashing on the splash after hitting start, i formated my drive wich was using NTFS (recently switched from windows) then partioned it with extf4, re-installed steam and the game, then it worked with proton experimental just fine.
Works fine on Nobara 37, Game is a little dark (as in hard to see) on my end but otherwise run as smooth as in a windows 10 installation.
A little darker than it should be, turned brightness all the way up.
Minor stuttering
Not any problems regarding the linux usage, only dev/saber issues.
Got the game for free on EpicGames and so far it works fine with little to no tinkering. Had to use the latest Proton prefix trought the Heroic Launcher, not sure how the steam version will be as of April 26th.
Had to install Proton EasyAntiCheat runtime wich is hidden in your steam library, then the game opened just fine.

As good as in windows, no connection issues regarding linux usage.
Not much else to say, just used the experimental proton and had to turn brightness up. Otherwise worked fine.
