Game works out of the box
The out of box install of the GOG version using the Heroic Games Launcher, works fantastic. Using Comet also works like a charm with this game, I've played for around 5 hours, both solo and online. All the GOG achievements that have unlocked have also shown up on my account thanks to Comet.

Arcade mode works, performance is good at normal difficulties and the most important menus are responsive. Galaxy progress does not save.
Extreme slowdowns in certain menu screens (ship details, leaderboards among others) and when playing on higher difficulties with a lot of ships on screen. From 55-60 fps normally to less than 10.
Game works great.
Works great
Works great. You might have to switch the Pulse Audio sources around in the system settings after launching the game to get Open Mic to work.
Regarding Open Mic Settings: I got device errors when trying to use Desktop Mode. With Line In set to my headphones i could hear the music both from my music player and the game with a bit of delay simultanously. To get around this i configured Pulse Audio to send the output of the music player to an unused device that weren't my headphones and let the game access that one.
With a dual monitor setup the game for some reason believed my non-primary display was in fact the primary one when switching to borderless fullscreen mode.
Desktop Mode needed for proper Open Mic setup. Run BH3 first in Desktop, then open PulseAudio. Under Recording, switch the Beat Hazard 3 audio stream to the monitor of your speakers. Choose this option under Line-In/Open mic and you're all set.
Runs at around 30fps with lots of things going on, text can be hard to read however the game is quite playable
Text is small
Steam deck can't maintain 60fps on Maximum/high
