Perfect out the box.

After launching this about 3 times, the native version just started locking up on launch. Even worse it caused my whole computer to hang for a moment after turning it off, and one attempt completely crashed my steam. Its very odd considering i had played it without issue prior, but suddenly it wouldn't load any more, so i swapped it to proton and it worked fine again.
Dropped thermal power to 3W and maintained 60fps. 4-5 hours battery
Some inputs would not register, often got the cursor 'lost' on the UI with invisible targets. I once got stuck in the options menu and only left after a seemingly random series of inputs reset the cursor. Not sure if any of this is Deck related.
Whether my issues were related to SteamDeck, the native Linux build, or the base game itself, I cannot say. Very fun and very enjoyable as a portable, casual, and quick gameplay loop. Still gets the thumbs up in this review because it's a fun game that might run great for you, but personally, my playthrough didn't meet my technical standards for 'a good SteamDeck game.'
You don't have to change anything. Game runs out of the box
Good but controller input issues
Save is shared with all Steam Deck users
Controller input is sometimes very laggy and the game seems to ignore Steam Input?
Ran just fine out of the box. Only needed to change the resolution and ui scaling. Fun game.
Defaults to a different resolution, was rendered fine, but switched to 1280x800

If your cursor isn't able to reach all spots, boot into desktop mode, adjust the resolution to 1280x800, and boot back.

In a previous report I noted that the resolution was off, looks like that was imported from a cloud save or something. Changed the resolution (I had to click up and to the left of the buttons/where I actually wanted to click) and it works fine.
Framerate locked to 30 and resolution at 576p. Doesnt make the game more or less playable so it doesnt really matter.

Looks like the resolution is incorrectly set, unable to click buttons. Same issue as user "A Duck" has that they posted about earlier.
It seems like the bottom and right edges are cropped slightly, and the touch screen doesn't touch what the cursor is over. I've not been able to get the game to proceed past the first screen. Switching to desktop mode in the Steam Deck and then launching the game works though.

Seems like it will run for about 5 seconds before it crashes.
Also borked natively; in the native build the program crashes on rollover of the first button.

This is a reply to "Game turns on and immediately closes". The crash is associated with Steam Overlay. Disabling Steam Overlay for this game prevents the crash.
This crash has been reported on many flavors of Linux. For me, it happens with both the native version of the game and with the non-native version run with compatibility layer. I don't think it's related to a specific version of the game; I encountered it after a OS update around 2021 June 8, which was not immediately after any game version update.
