Heavy use of mouse means it's not the most comfortable way to play but definitely possible
Had trouble with resolution initially where UI was cutoff. Had to force a higher res to be able to see the menu, then I could toggle windowed to fullscreen, exit the game, and restore native res. After that everything worked as expected.
Some UI hang when panels open for the first time (inventory, level start). Subsequent loads of similar things seem to run full speed.
Did not work with me using Steam defaults despite this being listed as native. I had to force Proton otherwise it just shows a black screen on startup.

Steam shortcut added with default Lutris
Does not seem to have good controller support and if you set that option it just makes the sticks control the cursor. Changed D-pad to Left, and Right mouse buttons. Grip Button to Middle Mouse to move the play area easier. Trackpad set to Mouse.
If you play too long could get a thumb cramp from the heavy/semi-precise trackpad use.
online doesn't work, can't connect to the servers. otherwise, native has improved a lot, it used to not even launch unless using proton, thank you developers!
Borderless fullscreen acts as if the screen is zoomed in on a small window. Regular, non-borderless fullscreen works fine.
Custom cursor is not a hardware cursor and is thus limited to the game's framerate. I don't know whether or not this is Proton-specific.
Framerate is limited to 60. Also hitches occasionally in menus.
Native build won't even launch for me.

claims to be linux native, but didn't launch until forced through proton
audio was crackling with one of my audio interfaces (solved by restarting it)
fullscreen does not work properly, borderless fs does

The biggest problem with the Linux version of DC is it's dependant on a build of GLIBC that needs to be custom built in a pocket install to work on Ubuntu 18.04 (and any distros relying on that). There's a guide to getting it working: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2227934399 but in my case even after going through all the steps the game still crashes with a generic segfault. I have no alternative but to run it under Proton, which incurs noticeable crackling in the audio because of too short a buffer which I'm not sure how to fix.
Daily quests for tokens don't show up. Loading them on Windows with steam cloud save enabled will get them to show up in Linux.
